Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of sintilimab combined with GP chemotherapy regimen in advanced non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods A total of 82 patients with NSCLC treated in the hospital were includ-ed in the full analysis set(FAS)and safety data set(SS)between March 2020 and August 2023.According to the random number table method, they were divided into the control group(41 cases,GP chemotherapy regimen:gemcitabine 1000 mg/m2 on day 1 and day 8+cisplatin 75mg/m2 on day 1)and the observation group(41 cases,GP chemotherapy regimen combined with sintilimab 200 mg on day 1,q3w).The clinical curative effect,1-year survival rate, changes in tumor markers[carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125),and T lymphocyte subsets were compared between the two groups. Results There were 2 cases excluded due to drug allergy in the observation group and 2 cases excluded due to withdrawal request and severe adverse reactions in the control group. Finally, there were 39 cases in the observation group and 39 cases in the control group meeting per-protocol set.The objective response rate(ORR)and disease control rate(DCR)of the observation group were higher than those of the control group(64.10%vs 33.33%,82.05%vs 58.97%,P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum CEA and CA125 were significantly decreased in both groups(P<0.05),and they were lower in the observation group than those in control group. After treatment,CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+were increased in the observation group, while they were decreased in the control group, and these three indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group. After treatment,CD8+was decreased in the observation group, while it was increased in the control group. The CD8+level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).The 1-year overall survival rate in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(66.67%vs 43.59%,P<0.05).Conclusion Sintilimab combined with chemotherapy can improve clinical effects, correct imbalance in T immune cells, and increase the 1-year survival rate in NSCLC patients.
