Abstract:Objective To explore the therapeutic effect of laparoscopic cholecystectomy(LC)on recurrent acute chole-cystitis(RAC)and its impact on cellular immunity. Methods Clinical data of 103 RAC patients admitted to our hospital from February 2021 to February 2024 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into an experimental group(n=52,underwent LC)and a control group(n=51,underwent traditional open surgery)based on surgical approach.Operative indices, cellular immune function, and complications were compared between the two groups. Results The experimental group showed significantly lower operative time, intraoperative blood loss, drainage tube indwelling time, postoperative hospitalization time, and total cost than the control group(P<0.05).No significant differences were observed in preoperative levels of CD3+,CD4+,CD8+and CD4+/CD8+between the two groups(P>0.05).Postoperative levels of CD3+,CD4+and CD4+/CD8+were significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group(P<0.05).No significant was found in the total incidence of postoperative compli-cations between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with traditional open surgery, laparoscopic cholecystectomy not only effectively reduce surgical trauma and accelerates postoperative recovery, but also better preserves cellular immune function in patients with recurrent acute cholecystitis.
