Analysis of Helicobacter pylori Infection Status and Related Factors in Yinchuan,Ningxia in 2021

Abstract：Objective To investigate the current status of Helicobacter pylori(Hp)infection and its related influencing factors in Yinchuan,Ningxia,and to provide an epidemiological basis for the correct and effective prevention of Hp infection.Methods A total of 1,158 subjects were randomly selected from five community hospitals in the Yinchuan area as study subjects,and 14C breath test(14C-UBT)measurements were performed to analyze the rate of Hp infection and related influencing factors.Results The Hp infection rate was 41.02％(475/1,158)among the study subjects.The analysis of influencing factors showed significant differences in Hp infection education level,living area,bowl and chopsticks cleaning habits,family history of digestive tract disease,work and life stress,and awareness of Hp(P＜0.05).Conclusion Despite the progress in standardized diagnosis and treatment of Hp,the infection remains prevalent in Yinchuan,Ningxia.It is essential to actively promote personal health and hygiene education and implement targeted interventions for Hp infection to provide an epidemiological basis for its management and prevention.
