Abstract:Objective To explore the efficacy of liver lobectomy combined with postoperative ulinastatin in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and its impact on helper T cell 9(Th9)and interleukin-9(IL-9)in peripheral blood. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 246 HCC patients admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Air Force Medical University from October 2019 to October 2023.They were divided into a control group(n=123)and a combination group(n=123)according to different treatment methods. Both groups were treated with liver lobectomy, while the combined group additionally received postoperative ulinastatin.General information, liver function indicators[alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST),total bilirubin(TBiL)],Th9,IL-9 levels, and complications were compared between the two groups. Results There was no statistically significant difference in general information between the two groups(P>0.05).After 7 days of treatment, the levels of ALT,AST,and TBiL in both groups increased, but the levels of ALT,AST,and TBiL in the combination group were lower than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).After 7 days of treatment, the levels of Th9 and IL-9 in both groups decreased, and the combination group had significantly lower levels of Th9 and IL-9 than the control group(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in the control group was 33.33%,higher than the 15.45%in the combination group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion Hepatic lobectomy combined with postoperative ulinastatin treatment for HCC can effectively reduce the proportion of peripheral blood Th9 cells and IL-9 levels, decrease the occurrence of complications, and provide a protective effect on liver function.
