Abstract:Objective To observe the factors affecting the quality of life of postpartum hemorrhage patients after uterine artery embolization(UAE)using logistic regression. Methods A total of 147 postpartum hemorrhage patients who underwent UAE in the Department of Obstetrics,Tangshan Maternal and Children Health Hospital from January 2021 to March 2024 were collected as the research subjects.Age,parity, body mass index(BMI),gestational age, cause of bleeding, amount of bleeding, mode of delivery,UAE side, number of UAEs,intrauterine gauze packing, scarred uterus, soft birth canal injury, surgical time, embolization material, postoperative complications, postoperative ground activity time, postoperative complications, preoperative negative emotions, postpartum depression, social support, feeding method, and quality of life at 3 months after surgery were recorded.Chi-square test and multivariate logistic regression analysis were applied to screen risk factors affecting the quality of life. Results Univariate analysis showed that age,BMI,gestational age,and intrauterine gauze packing had no significant effect on the 36-Item Short-Form(SF-36)score(P>0.05),while parity, bleeding cause, bleeding volume, mode of delivery,UAE side,UAE frequency, soft birth canal injury, surgery time, postoperative complications, postoperative outdoor activity time, prenatal anxiety, prenatal depression, postpartum depression, social support, and breastfeeding had significant effects on the SF-36 score(P<0.05).The Results of multivariate logistic analysis showed that bleeding volume, number of UAE events, soft birth canal injury, postoperative complications, prenatal depression, and prenatal anxiety were risk factors for poor quality of life after UAE(P<0.05),while social support was a protective factor for poor quality of life after UAE(P<0.05).Conclusion Bleeding volume, frequency of UAE,soft birth canal injury, postoperative complications, prenatal depression, prenatal anxiety, etc.are risk factors for poor postoperative quality of life in postpartum hemorrhage patients treated with UAE.Social support is a protective factor for poor postoperative quality of life in postpartum hemorrhage patients treated with UAE.
