Abstract:Objective To investigate the sensitivity and prognostic predictive value of C-X-C chemokine receptor type 3(CXCR3)in patients with bladder urothelial carcinoma undergoing gemcitabine chemotherapy. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 120 patients with bladder urothelial carcinoma admitted between January 2022 and January 2024.Clin-ical data of the patients were collected, and based on the RECIST 1.1 criteria for solid tumor response, patients were divided into the sensitive group and the resistant group.CXCR3 levels were measured in both groups.Logistic regression was used to analyze the factors influencing chemotherapy sensitivity, and the predictive value of CXCR3 for prognosis was assessed using the ROC curve. Results Out of the 120 patients,77 were in the sensitive group and 43 were in the resistant group. There were no signif-icant differences between the two groups in terms of age,BMI,or gender(P>0.05),but significant differences were found in smok-ing history and pathological grading(P<0.05).CXCR3 expression levels were higher in the sensitive group than in the resistant group(P<0.05).The incidence of poor prognosis was lower in the sensitive group compared to the resistant group(P<0.05).Logis-tic regression analysis indicated that pathological grading, smoking history, and CXCR3 levels were independent factors affecting chemotherapy sensitivity.ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC for CXCR3 predicting poor prognosis was 0.887,demonstrating good predictive value. Conclusion The expression level of CXCR3 can serve as a predictive marker for sensitivity to gemcit-abine chemotherapy and prognosis in patients with bladder urothelial carcinoma, with potential clinical application value.
