Abstract:Objective To explore the characteristics of skin lesions and the expression of specific-related antibodies in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE).Methods A retrospective study was carried out on 411 SLE patients in Haian People's Hospital,Jiangsu Province from September 2019 to February 2024.Among them,230 patients with cutaneous and mucosal lesions were included in the skin lesion group, and 181 patients without cutaneous and mucosal lesions were included in the non-skin lesion group. The types of cutaneous and mucosal lesions in the skin lesion group were counted,as well as the involvement of other organs, and the positive rates and levels of anti-Sm antibody,anti-dsDNA antibody,anti-Nuc antibody and anti-Rib-P antibody in the two groups. Results Among the 411 SLE patients,230 cases(55.96%)had cutaneous and mucosal lesions, including 137 cases(59.57%)of butterfly rash,95 cases(41.30%)of photosensitivity,75 cases(32.61%)of finger/toe erythema,67 cases(29.13%)of alopecia, and 50 cases(21.74%)of petechiae and ecchymosis. The incidence of myalgia/dermatomyositis,arthralgia,kidney and nervous system involvement in the skin lesion group was higher than that in the non-skin lesion group(P<0.05).The positive rates and levels of anti-Sm antibody and anti-dsDNA antibody in the skin lesion group were higher than those in the non-skin lesion group(P<0.05).Conclusion Most SLE patients have specific cutaneous and mucosal lesions such as butterfly rash, but non-specific cutaneous and mucosal lesion types still account for a large proportion.Meanwhile, the positive rates and levels of anti-Sm antibody and anti-dsDNA antibody in patients with cutaneous and mucosal lesions are higher and correlated with the involvement of other organs.
