Abstract:Objective To investigate the relationship between serum C-C Chemokine Ligand 20(CCL20),Stathmin,heat shock protein 40(HSP40)with clinical pathological features and postoperative recurrence and metastasis in patients with endometrial cancer(EC).Methods Ninety EC patients underwent laparoscopic hysterectomy admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2024 were included as the study subjects(EC group),and 97 patients with benign endometrial lesions(endometrial polyps, endometrial hyperplasia, etc.)were included as the benign lesion group.ELISA was applied to measure serum levels of CCL20,Stathmin,and HSP40.General information and pathological features of the patients were collected. All EC patients were assigned into recurrence group(n=22)and non recurrence group(n=68)based on whether there was recurrence or metastasis one year after surgery.ROC curve was applied to analyze the predictive value of serum CCL20,Stathmin,and HSP40 for postoperative recurrence and metastasis in EC patients. Results The serum levels of CCL20,Stathmin,and HSP40 in the EC group were higher than those in the benign lesion group(P<0.05).There was no statistically obvious difference in the expression levels of serum CCL20,Stathmin,and HSP40 among EC patients of different ages,BMI,maximum tumor diameter, and pathological types(P>0.05).There were obvious differences in serum CCL20,Stathmin,and HSP40 levels among patients with different FIGO stages, infiltration depths, and differentiation degrees(P<0.05).The serum levels of CCL20,Stathmin,and HSP40 in the recurrence group were higher than those in the non recurrence group(P<0.05).The AUC values of serum CCL20,Stathmin,and HSP40 levels in predicting postoperative recurrence and metastasis in patients were 0.783,0.877,0.835,and 0.971,respectively,the combination of the three was superior to CCL20,Stathmin,and HSP40 individual diagnosis(Z=3.661,2.192,3.085,P=0.000,0.028,0.002).Conclusion The levels of CCL20,Stathmin,and HSP40 in the serum of EC patients are all elevated, and the changes in these levels are correlated with the clinical pathological features of the patients, and have certain predictive value for postoperative recurrence and metastasis.
