Abstract:Objective To observe and explore the ultrasonographic features of sentinel lymph nodes in patients with breast cancer(BC)and the diagnostic efficacy of ultrasound-guided needle biopsy. Methods A total of one hundred and eight BC patients who received treatment at Hai'an People's Hospital from January 2023 to February 2024 were enrolled.Their clinical pathological data and ultrasound imaging characteristics were recorded, and univariate analysis was performed on relevant parameters. In addition, all patients received ultrasound-guided needle biopsy, and postoperative pathological examination was used as the gold standard to analyze the detection rate of axillary sentinel lymph node(ASLN)metastasis in BC patients by ultrasound-guided biopsy. The diagnostic value of ultrasound-guided biopsy for ASLN metastasis in BC patients was also analyzed. Results The results of univariate analysis showed that the enhancement characteristics of lesions(x2=4.837,P<0.05),tumor morphology(x2=4.351,P<0.05),mass margins(x2=5.309,P<0.05),and Adler blood flow grade(x2=9.758,P<0.05)were significantly related to the accuracy of ultrasonography in sentinel lymph node diagnosis of breast cancer.Among the 108 BC patients, the positive rate of ASLN metastasis by pathological examination was 76.85%.The detection rate of ASLN metastasis by ultrasound imaging was 87.95%,while the detection rate of ASLN metastasis by ultrasound-guided puncture biopsy was 96.39%.Diagnostic value analysis showed that, through ROC curve analysis, the sensitivity and specificity of ultrasound-guided puncture biopsy for ASLN metastasis in BC patients were 96.39%and 72.00%,respectively.Conclusion Ultrasound-guided puncture biopsy has a high diagnostic value for sentinel lymph node metastasis in BC patients and is worthy of clinical application.
