Efficacy of Xintong Oral Liquid Combined with Metoprolol in the Treatment of Unstable Angina Pectoris and Its Effect on Blood Lipid and Vascular Endothelial Function

Abstract：Objective To investigate the efficacy of Xintong Oral Liquid combined with metoprolol in the treatment of unstable angina pectoris(UAP)and its effect on blood lipid and vascular endothelial function.Methods A total of 160 UAP patients treated at Nanjing Central Hospital from January 2022 to December 2023 were enrolled.According to the envelope drawing method,patients were divided into a control group and an experimental group,with 80 cases in each group.The control group received metoprolol treatment,while the experimental group was treated with Xintong Oral Liquid combined with metop-rolol.Results Compared with the control group,the experimental group exhibited a higher total clinical effective rate,fewer angina attacks,shorter duration of attacks,and milder pain(P＜0.05).The experimental group had lower levels of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol,serum endothelin,triglyceride,and total cholesterol,while cardiac output,high-density lipoprotein cholesterol,serum nitric oxide,and left ventricular ejection fraction were higher than those in the control group(all P＜0.05).No significant difference was observed in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclu-sion Xintong Oral Liquid combined with metoprolol can effectively improve angina symptoms,regulate blood lipids,and en-hance endothelial function,demonstrating its clinical value.
