Abstract:Objective To investigate the application value of Cardiac Magnetic Resonance(CMR)rest and stress per-fusion in cardiac damage of diabetic patients. Methods Ninety-eight patients with diabetes mellitus suspected to have heart damage admitted to the First People's Hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine from July 2021 to July 2023 were selected as study subjects. All of them underwent CMR resting perfusion and loading perfusion examinations. The diagnostic efficacy of CMR resting and/or loading perfusion for patients with diabetes mellitus was analyzed by using the results of SPECT examination as the gold standard. All patients underwent CMR resting perfusion and loading perfusion examinations, and the di-agnostic efficacy of CMR resting and/or loading perfusion on heart damage in diabetic patients was analyzed using the results of single photon emission computed tomography(SPECT)as the gold standard. Results Among 98 patients with suspected dia-betic heart damage,SPECT test was positive in 85 cases and negative in 13 cases.CMR resting perfusion test showed positive in 72 cases,true-positive in 65 cases, negative in 26 cases, and true-negative in 14 cases.CMR loading perfusion test showed positive in 70 cases,true-positive in 63 cases, negative in 28 cases, and true-negative in 17 cases.CMR resting load perfusion test showed positive in 84 cases,true-positive in 83 cases, and true-negative in 83 cases.CMR resting perfusion test showed positive in 84 cases,true-positive in 83 cases, and true-negative in 17 cases.CMR resting load perfusion test showed 84 cases,83 cases of true positivity,14 cases of negativity, and 13 cases of true negativity. There was no significant difference in precision, sensitivity and specificity between CMR resting test and load test, but CMR resting load test was superior to CMR resting test in terms of precision and sensitivity, and there was no significant difference in specificity. Conclusion CMR rest and stress perfusion has high accuracy and sensitivity in diagnosing cardiac damage in diabetic patients and can be considered as an imaging method for diagnosing cardiac damage in diabetic patients.
