Abstract:Objective To investigate and analyze the protective effect of the ultrasound-guided bilateral superior laryn-geal nerve block based on the recurrent laryngeal nerve monitor on the recurrent laryngeal nerve in patients with thyroid cancer.Method A total of 104 patients with thyroid cancer admitted to our hospital from June 2021 to June 2023 were prospectively selected as subjects and divided into a control group(ultrasound-guided bilateral superior laryngeal nerve block)and a combined group(ultrasound-guided bilateral superior laryngeal nerve block under the guidance of the recurrent laryngeal nerve monitor),with 52 cases in each group,by random number table method. The operation-related indexes, levels of epinephrine(E),norepi-nephrine(NE)and interleukin-10(IL-10),recurrent laryngeal nerve injury, analgesic effect and complication rate of the two groups were observed and evaluated. Results After treatment, the operation duration, hospitalization duration,in-traoperative blood loss and postoperative drainage volume of the patients in the combined group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Six hours after surgery, the levels of E,NE and IL-10 in both groups increased, but those in the combined group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The identification rate of the recurrent larynge-al nerve in the combined group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),while the identification time of the recurrent laryngeal nerve was much shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the analgesic ef-fect of the combined group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the total inci-dence of complications in the combined group was significantly lower than that in the control group(x2=6.3 10,P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of implementing the ultrasound-guided bilateral superior laryngeal nerve block based on the recurrent laryngeal nerve monitor in patients with thyroid cancer is significant. It can not only improve the operation-related indexes and the condition of recurrent laryngeal nerve injury of patients, reduce the levels of E,NE and IL-10,but also relieve the pain degree, and the incidence of complications is low.
