Abstract:Objective To analyze the effect and advantages of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of multidrug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis. Methods A total of120 inpatients with TB infection in the Third Hospital of Cangzhou City from January 2022 to January 2024 were collected and randomly divided into a control group (com-bined use of anti-tuberculosis drugs) and an experimental group (combined use of anti-tuberculosis drugs+traditional Chi-nese medicine treatment) .The sputum culture, lesion absorption, improvement of clinical symptoms, and curative effect de-termination of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes of the control group and the experimental group were compared at 1,3,6,9,and 12 months after treatment. Results Both the control group and the experimental group have good therapeutic effects on multidrug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis.Compared with the control group, the experimental group can better in-crease the sputum bacteria conversion rate of patients with multidrug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis, can better improve the lesion absorption of patients with multidrug-resistant pulmonary tuberculosis, and there is a significant difference in the effec-tive rate of curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes (P<0.05).Both the control group and the experimental group can effectively improve clinical symptoms (P>0.05).Conclusion The therapeutic effect of traditional Chinese medi-cine combined with Western medicine is better than that of Western medicine alone. The combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine can more effectively improve clinical symptoms.
