Abstract:Objective To analyze the safety and effectiveness of percutaneous nephrolithotomy combined with nega-tive pressure stone sheath removal in the treatment of kidney stones. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on116 patients with kidney stones in Department of Urology,Linfen People's Hospital from January 2023 to February 2024,divided into a combination group (58 cases, percutaneous nephrolithotomy combined with negative pressure stone removal sheath) and a control group (58 cases, percutaneous nephrolithotomy) for analysis.Compare renal function, inflammatory cytokine levels, surgical related indicators, stone clearance rate, and incidence of complications between two groups of patients. Results There was no significant difference in serum creatinine and urea nitrogen levels and the incidence of complications between the two groups before and after operation (P>0.05);compared with before operation, the levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein[(7.21±1.23) mg/L vs (15.68±3.12) mg/L,(10.87±1.76) mg/L vs (15.42±3.21) mg/L]and procalcito-nin[(0.61±0.21) ng/mL vs (3.58±0.89) ng/mL,(1.58±0.58) ng/mL vs (3.41±0.81) ng/mL]in the combined group and the control group were significantly reduced after operation, the levels of high-sensitivity C-reactive protein and pro-calcitonin in the combined group were significantly lower than those in the control group[(7.21±1.23) mg/L vs (10.87±1.76) mg/L,(0.61±0.21) ng/mL vs (1.58±0.58) ng/mL],and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05);compared with the control group, the hospitalization time[(11.21±2.11) d vs (15.98±2.75) d],intraoperative blood loss[(61.23±4.12) ml vs (82.74±5.62) mL],operation time[(74.51±3.78) min vs (95.42±4.67) min]in the combined group were significantly shorter, and the stone clearance rate was significantly higher[94.83%(55/58) vs 77.59% (45/58)],the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Percutaneous nephrolithotomy com-bined with negative-pressure stone sheath removal for the treatment of kidney stone can effectively reduce the inflammation, improve the rate of stone removal, and will not increase the incidence of complications and affect the renal function of patients, which is safe and effective.
