Relationship between CTRP9,vWF Levels with Arteriovenous Fistula Thrombosis in Hemodialysis Patients

Abstract：Objective To explore the relationship between serum levels of C1q/tumor necrosis factor related protein 9 (CTRP9) and von Willebrand factor (vWF) in hemodialysis (HD) patients with thrombosis in arteriovenous fistula (AVF).Meth-ods A total of 162 HD patients who underwent AVF surgery in our hospital from March2021 to March2023 were regarded as the study subjects (HD group),and they were separated into non thrombotic group (n=106) and thrombotic group (n=56) based on the presence of AVF thrombosis;another 160 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations during the same period were regarded as the control group.Collection of patient clinical information.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was applied to detect serum levels of CTRP9 and vWF.Pearson method was applied to analyze the correlation between CTRP9,vWF levels with clinical related indicators.Multivariate logistic regression was applied to analyze the influencing factors of AVF thrombosis in HD patients.Receiver operating curve (ROC) was applied to evaluate the predictive value of serum CTRP9 and vWF levels for AVF thrombosis inHDpatients.Results Comparedwiththecontrol group,theserumCTRP9level intheHDgroupwassignificantlyre-duced (P<0.05),while the vWF level was obviously increased (P<0.05).The serum CTRP9 level in the thrombotic group was significantly lower than that in the non-thrombotic group (P<0.05),and the vWF level was obviously higher than that in the non-thrombotic group (P<0.05).The differences in WBC,PLT,FIB,D-dimer,LDL-C,and TNF-α levels between the thrombotic and non-thrombotic groups were statistically obvious (P<0.05),and they were negatively correlated with serum CTRP9 level (P<0.05) and positively correlated with vWF level (P<0.05).PLT,FIB,D-dimer,vWF,and CTRP9 were the influencing factors of AVF thrombosis in HD patients (P<0.05).The area under the curve (AUC) of serum CTRP9,vWF,and their combined predic-tion for AVF thrombosis in HD patients was 0.833,0.869,and 0.923,respectively,which was better than single prediction (Z combination-CTRP9=2.733,P=0.006,Z combination-vWF=2.218,P=0.027).Conclusion The decrease in serum CTRP9 level and the increase in vWF level in HD patients are significantly associated with AVF thrombosis.
