Abstract:Objective To analyze the predictive value of serum β-human chorionic gonadotropin (β-HCG) in ectopic pregnancy patients. Methods The study involved 89 ectopic pregnancy patients treated from January 2018 to January 2022 as the observation group, and 63 healthy women with normal pregnancies during the same period as the con-trol group. We collected general data for both groups and compared levels of serum sex hormones (FSH,LH,estradiol[E2],pro-gesterone),anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH),pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A),and β-HCG. Logis-tic re-gression analysis was used to explore the relationship between these markers and ectopic pregnancy, with diagnostic efficacy assessed using ROC curves. Results In the observation group, levels of FSH and LH were higher, while levels of E2,pro-gesterone,AMH,PAPP-A,and β-HCG were lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). Multifactor analysis showed that E2,progesterone,PAPP-A,and β-HCG were protective factors for ectopic pregnancy. ROC curve analysis demonstrated that their combined area under the curve (AUC) was 0.976,showing superior diagnostic efficacy compared to individual markers. Conclusion Serum E2,progesterone,PAPP-A,and β-HCG demonstrated significant predictive value for ectopic pregnancy, with their combined use providing higher diagnostic accura-cy than individual markers.
