Abstract:With the continuous progress of medical technology, the survival rate of extremely preterm infants has been increasing, and the incidence of bronchopulmonary dysplasia has also increased. The main characteristics of bronchopulmonary dysplasia are impaired pulmonary angiogenesis, alveolar arrest and extracellular matrix change.Changes in the levels of pro-angiogenic factors, such as vascular endothelial growth factor,angiopoietin,platelet-derived growth factor, and hepatocyte growth factor, play a key role in maintaining normal pulmonary angiogenesis and alveolar development. These factors are close-ly associated with the development of bronchopulmonary dysplasia and have a good prospect in the clinical prevention and treat-ment of the disease.
