Abstract:Peripheral facial nerve palsy is a common disease in clinical practice. There have been a lot of experimen-tal studies on the diagnosis and treatment of facial nerve palsy. However, animal models play a particularly vital role in experi-mental research, and the mode and degree of nerve damage directly affect the effectiveness of subsequent treatment and the ac-curacy of experimental results.Due to the lack of unified operating standards for the establishment of animal models, this pa-per makes a summary and analysis of the modeling methods of the existing experimental studies, and describes the modeling methods of the animal models of peripheral facial nerve palsy and the electron microscope observation of neuron specimens in detail,so as to provide a reference for the modeling methods in experimental studies.
