Application of propofol for intraoperative and postoperative nausea and vomiting

Abstract：Nausea and vomiting(NV) may occur in both lucid and undergoing general anes-thesia patients. As a common anesthetic agent,propofol has been found and proved to be effective a-gainst NV in recent years,and plays a favourable role in the prevention and treatment of NV. The present study is to review the usage of propofol in prevention and treatment of NV intraoperative and postoperative.
