Analysis of 29 cases of ventricular fold hypertrophy diseases

Abstract：Objective To summarize the clinical features and pathogenesis of ventricular fold hypertrophy diseases. Methods The gender, age, career, clinical manisfestation, physical examination and treatment of 29 cases of ventricular fold hypertrophy were analyzed retrospectively. Results Eleven cases were laryngeal amyloidosis, four were ventricular cyst, ten were chronic inflammation, one was high differentiation of non-hodkin's B cell lymphoma, one was atypical hyperplasia, one was schwannoma, the last one was squamous-cell carcinoma. All of them were treated with surgery and satisfied with the therapeutic effect. Conclusion The dysphonia of ventricular fold hypertrophy patients can be treated by surgery.
