Application and evaluation of modularized teaching in medical cell biology

Abstract：Objective To evaluate the teaching effect of Medical Cell Biology after integra-tion into Cellular and Molecular Basis in five-year clinical medicine students. Methods In order to compare the difference of classroom teaching effect and the examination results, we analyzed the teaching effect questionnaire and the examination paper of the clinical medicine students before and after the modularized teaching reform. Results Integrating Cell Biology into Cellular and Molecular Basis significantly increased the study interest, the ability to comprehensive use of knowledge, the effect of literature discussion class and the interest in early contact with scientific research. Moreo-ver, the examination performance of theoretical courses, experimental courses and literature discu-ssion courses were remarkably improved. Conclusion Modularized teaching of Medical Cell Biology is helpful for students to stimulate studying interests and to improve the studying effect and learning achievement, and is worth of promotion and application.
