Preliminary practice and thinking of case teaching of introduction to clinical medicine for non-medical professional

Abstract:Objective To explore the effects of case teaching in the education of introduction to clinical medicine for non-medical professional. Methods We choosed grade 2011 students ma-jored in biotechnology for the study, they were randomly divided into experimental and control groups, using the final assessments to evaluate the quality of case teaching and traditional teaching methods. Results Most students and teachers think that today’s teaching methods do not apply to non-clinical professional. Experiments shown that, compared with the control group, the experimen-tal group students’ final exam scores, learning interest and efficiency improved significantly and the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion Compared with the traditional teaching mode, case teaching can significantly improve the clinical examination results, students’ learning interest and enthusiasm.
