Abstract：This article reviews the emergence and development of translational medicine, ana-lyzes the current domestic background of translational medicine, explains the definition and transla-tional medicine mode, and puts forward the key points and measures of strengthening the translational medicine practice. The laboratory medicine is one of the most active field of translational medicine, the hospital collaboration with scientific research colleges and universities to carry out the strategy of translational medicine have been discussed.
