Abstract：Congenital insensitivity to pain with anhydrosis (CIPA) is an extremely rare di-sease, and often misdiagnosed.The recent research progress of pathogenesis, clinical manifestation, diagnosis, treatment and safeguard procedures of CIPA were reviewed in the article, in order to cast a light on the diagnosis and treatment of CIPA.
