Abstract：Uncontrolled inflammatory response plays an important role in the mechanism of acute lung injury/acute respiratory distress syndrome (ALI/ARDS).Studies have shown that the molecular biological basis of the inflammatory response in the ALI/ARDS is inflammatory mediators generated by Toll-like receptor 4.This review presents the mechanism of Toll-like receptor 4 signa-ling pathways in the ALI/ARDS.
