Clinical progress of the prostatic artery embolization in treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia

Abstract：Medication and surgeries have their own limits in treatment for benign prostatic hy-perplasia ( BPH) .Prostatic artery embolization ( PAE) is a newly emerged technique to improve the lower urinary tract syndrome caused by BPH .The aim of this article is to summarize the the reports about the PAE in recent years and our own opinions were proposed to provide an alternative for the treatment for BPH .
