Progress of the surgical treatment of obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome

Abstract：Obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome ( OSAHS) is a high risk of fatal sleep disordered breathing diseases. With acknowledge of the upper airway obstruction and the physical function of soft palate,the surgical technique of OSAHS is paid more and more attention. The sur￣gery can improve the upper airway cross￣sectional area, and reduce the complications. Advances in tongue plane surgical treatment of OSAHS are reriewed.
