Research of arrhythmias during the crew sailing

Abstract：Objective To observe the crew′s arrhythmias occurence and changes in oceangoing voyage .Methods Fifty sailors received dynamic electrocardiogram inspection in different periods , including pre-sailing , underway period and in the way back .Results No obvious slow rhythm of heartbeat and over second degree atrioventricular block were found in the whole process of sailing . However, premature beat increased significantly (P<0.05), mainly focused on those first oceangoing sailors ( P<0.01) .It gradually reduced during the berth ( P<0.05) .Conclusion Oceangoing voya-ge will not increase the occurence of arrhythmias , but the premature beat is possible for some people but reversible .
