Respiratory tract management after extubation in general anesthesia after the tonsillectomy in children

Abstract:Objective To study the methods of respiratory tract management after extubation in general anesthesia after the tonsillectomy in children.Methods From July 2010 to March 2013, the clinical data of 1 10 patients who were performed tonsillectomy were analysed retrospectively.Re-sults The respiratory function of children recovered well and went back ward safely under-going re-spiratory tract management.Conclusion Respiratory tract management methods,including strict respiratory function evaluation,full oral attracting,jaw-lifting,placing an oropharyngeal airway, processing laryngospasm timely,were all effective methods in respiratory tract management after the tonsillectomy in children.
