Abstract:Objective To understand the resistance level of mosquitoes in national surveillance sites in Licang District of Qingdao,so as to provide evidence for the prevention and control of mosquitoes. Methods The insecticide resistance of adult mosquitoes and larvae were detected by the tube contact method and the immersion method, respectively. Results In 2022,the mortality rates of adult Culex pipiens pallens to beta-cypermethrin,deltamethrin,propoxur and permethrin were 73.33%,69.33%,48.00%and 49.33%,respectively,which exhibited resistance to all of them.Cx.pipiens pallens larvae showed sensitive to beta-cypermethrin and deltamethrin with the resistance ratios of 2.85 and 2.34,respectively.Cx.pipiens pallens larvae developed low resistance to permethrin and propoxur with the resistance ratios of 3.83 and 5.09,respectively.In 2023,Ae.albopictus larvae showed sensitive to beta-cypermethrin with a resistance ratio of 1.57.Ae.albopictus larvae developed low resistance to permethrin, propoxur and deltamethrin with the resistance ratios of 9.13,3.27 and 6.27,respectively.Conclusion Different mosquito species in Licang District exhibit varying degrees of resistance to the same insecticide, and different life stages of the same mosquito species show differences in resistance levels to the same insecticide.Resistance monitoring should be continuously carried out to guide rational insecticide use.
