Abstract:Objective To analyze the monitoring data of imported vectors at Changshu Port from 2023 to 2024,summarize the input patterns of vectors,so as to provide reference for strengthening the quarantine, identification, surveillance of vectors at the port, preventing the import and spread of vector-borne infectious diseases. Methods Based on the interception of vectors by international shipping vessels, containers and cargo entering Changshu Port from 2023 to 2024,descriptive statistical method was used to analyze the quantity and proportion of vectors, distribution of interception time, species composition ratio, changes in interception volume, origin and correlation with carrying routes. Results From 2023 to 2024,34 species of imported vectors were intercepted at Changshu Port, including cockroaches, flies, mosquitoes, rodents, and ticks.Among the captured cockroaches,Blattella germanica,Periplaneta americana, and Neostylopyga rhombifolia accounted for 97.77%,1.95%,and 0.28%of the total number of cockroaches, respectively.Musca domestica,Delia platura,Fannia prisca,Chrysomya megacephala, and Lucilia sericata accounted for 47.75%,11.09%,8.20%,6.11%,and 6.11%of the total number of flies, respectively.Culex pipiens pallens,Aedes albopictus,Anopheles sinensis, and Culex quinquefasciatus accounted for 77.77%,11.11%,5.56%,and 5.56%of the total number of mosquitoes, respectively.Rodents were Rattus rattus. The tick was Amblyomma geoemydae.Cockroaches were mainly intercepted from Thailand and Indonesia, flies were mainly intercepted from South Korea and Indonesia, and mosquitoes were mainly intercepted from Indonesia and South Korea. The vectors at port mainly entered through inbound ships and containers, and were not intercepted in the cargo. Conclusion There are many types of vectors intercepted at Changshu Port, with a wide range of sources. The invasion risk of alien vectors and the resulting potential public health risks are high.Further strengthening the monitoring and prevention of vectors at the port is of great significance.
