Abstract:Through the implementation of a special malaria screening program for inbound personnel across Jiangsu Province in 2024,a total of 8 cases with positive preliminary screening results were detected.Among these,7 cases were confirmed by blood smear microscopy, and all of them have been successfully treated and recovered. The current status of malaria infection among inbound foreign populations poses a public health risk of concealed transmission.Based on a comprehensive analysis of the clinical characteristics of the cases, and risk assessment, this study further examines the current situation of malaria infection in inbound personnel and proposes targeted prevention and control measures. The purpose is to provide a scientific basis and practical reference for reducing the risk of imported malaria and consolidating the achievements in malaria elimination.
