Innovative applications and research progress of pulse jet engine in pest control

Abstract：Pests pose an increasing threat to agriculture,forestry,and the environment,necessitating improvements in control efficiency.This paper reviews the classification of traditional pest control equipment and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of various pesticide application machines.It focuses on the application advantages and current research status of pulse jet engines in two innovative pesticide application machines—pulse fogging machines and soil steam sterilizers.Pulse fogging machines offer efficient spraying and penetration,making them suitable for large-scale operations,while soil steam sterilizers demonstrate excellent sterilization in soil treatment.Finally,the paper discusses the prospects for the use of pulse jet engines in pest control and proposes future research directions and challenges.
