Toxicity of three insecticides against Coptotermes formosanus and Reticulitermes speratus

Abstract：Objective To determine the toxicity of broflanilide,chlorantraniliprole,fufenozide against Coptotermes formosanus and Reticulitermes speratus.Methods The toxicity of three insecticides were determined using the topical application method.Results 72 hours after the treatment,the LC50 of broflanilide,chlorantraniliprole,fufenozide against C.formosanus were 4.241 5,1.434 0,14 638 mg/L,respectively.And the LC50 of broflanilide,chlorantraniliprole,fufenozide against R.Speratus were 2.822 1,0.2 839,7 960 mg/L,respectively.Conclusions Among the three insecticides,broflanilide exhibits the highest toxicity against the two species of termites,followed by chlorantraniliprole,and fufenozide exhibits the lowest toxicity.Chlorantraniliprole and broflanilide shows obvious contact toxicity to C.formosanus and R.speratus,while fufenozide shows very low contact toxicity.
