Abstract:Objective To explore the application of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)in the construction of animal plague monitoring quadrat ecological model and the collection of ecological information within the quadrat,so as to provide technical support and technical reserve for the information, intelligent and automated construction of plague prevention and control in Hebei Province. Methods Dji Mavic 3 multi-spectral UAV was used to collect quadrat images of different habitats in the plague natural foci of Hebei Province, and DJI Zhitu software was used to build quadrat ecological models.Using the Chinese rodent confidence management system to collect image information, the ecological information of the sample and the occurrence of rodent infestation were analyzed. Results Nine quadrat samples were collected in the natural plague focus of Hebei Province, covering an area of 204 843.1 m2 and a route length of 29.82 km,which lasted 287 min 15 s.A total of 19 923 aerial images were obtained, and 8 quadrat ecological models were successfully constructed, with a success rate of 88.89%.The ecological information area of the monitoring quadrat was 510 475.1 m2,with an average coverage rate of 47.83%.The coverage rate of grassland was the highest, followed by artificial grassland, and cultivated land was the lowest.Among the three habitats, the area of secondary bare land was the largest in the artificial grassland, the area of mounds and patches was the largest in the grassy flat, and rat holes were the most common in the cultivated land. Conclusions UAV can be used for the construction of ecological models of animal plague monitoring samples in plague natural foci and the evaluation of ecological information and rodent situation in plague foci, and its application in plague emergency management should be further discussed.
