Abstract:The southeast coastal region of China, with their extensive marine territories and rich biodiversity of marine organisms, are frequently affected by injuries caused by hazardous marine organisms, which pose significant threats to public health. This study comprehensively summarizes the injury mechanisms, clinical manifestations, and emergency management measures for predominant injury types, including jellyfish stings, sea snake bites, and sea urchin spine injuries. In response to critical challenges in prevention and control, such as insufficient marine ecological monitoring, delayed development of repellent products, and inadequate emergency medical resources at the grassroots level, the paper proposes the establishment of a multidisciplinary collaborative prevention and control system.Key strategies include enhancing dynamic monitoring of marine environments, developing high-efficacy repellent agents, promoting public safety education, and establishing regional emergency response networks with standardized treatment protocols. These measures aim to mitigate injury risks, and ensure personal safety.
