Interpretation of the group standard for Guidelines of sustainable control and prevention of vectors in rural areas—Mosquito

Abstract：On January 24,2025,the China Association for Health Pest Control released the group standard:Guidelines for Sustainable Control of Mosquitoes in Rural Areas(T/CPCACN 0019-2025),which was officially implemented on February 24.This standard specifies the concepts,organizational management,green control measures,implementation guarantees,evaluation indicators,and evaluation methods for sustainable mosquito control in rural areas.This standard applies to health villages,healthy villages,and other rural construction and assessment work at the provincial level and above,including the intention to build beautiful countryside,future villages,and other rural revitalization efforts.It is one of important criteria for green and environmental protection serving rural work of pest control operation(PCO)services,and also provides a technical support for the construction of healthy cities in enabling environment for vector control.This paper introduces the background and scope of the group standard,and interprets its main contents and key points so as to facilitate understanding and application by relevant personnel.
