Discussion on the experience of on-site prevention and control of vectors after flood disasters

Abstract：After the occurrence of flood disaster,the natural environment is destroyed,and the breeding habitat environment of vectors changes,resulting in their species,density,distribution and harm degree changes,and even cause the outbreak and epidemic of vector-borne diseases.Reducing vector harassment and the occurrence of vector diseases is the primary task of vector control personnel.According to the extent of the disaster and the scene environment,the monitoring methods and prevention and control measures of vectors will be different.This paper discusses the on-site control experience of vectors after flood disaster in Hunan Province in 2024.The safe and effective prevention and control measures which proposed by vector control personnel based on the actual situation,is the key to ensure"catastrophe after no plague".
