Preparation of dinotefuran 10%soluble concentrate and its control effect on Blattella germanica

Abstract：Objective To develop a novel,highly efficient and environmentally friendly insecticide for the prevention and control of cockroaches.Methods Dinotefuran 10%soluble concentrate with stable physicochemical properties was prepared by hydration solvation technology using arginine as a co-solvent.Results After the residual spraying,the particles of the 10%soluble concentrate dispersed uniformly,while the coarse particles of dinotefuran 40%water soluble granule aggregated.The hydrogen bonds between arginine and dinotefuran greatly enhanced the water solubility and dilution stability of the concentrate,which also equipped with good penetration.In the residual spraying experiment,dinotefuran 10%soluble concentrate on different absorbent surface demonstrated excellent quick-acting and sustained-effect on Blattella germanica,which exposed to dinotefuran after 30 min,the 72 h mortality rates were≥70%,and the 72 h mortality rates after 45 days of storage were≥70%.Conclusion The dinotefuran 10%soluble concentrate has a broad market prospect and provides good reference for the developing green and environmentally friendly insecticide.
