Discussion on Oropouche fever and the prevention and control measures at the port

Abstract：Recently,there have been outbreaks of Oropulche fever in many parts of the world.The early clinical manifestations of infected individuals are similar to those of vector-borne infectious diseases such as dengue fever,Zika virus disease,and chikungunya fever,making it difficult to distinguish and timely diagnose and implement relevant prevention and control measures.The transmission vector of this virus is widely distributed worldwide,and attention should be paid to the risk of its further spread and threat to global public health security.Timely assessment and response should be made.This article reviews the etiology,epidemiological characteristics,pathogenesis,symptoms and treatment,laboratory diagnosis,and epidemic situation of Oropouche fever,and proposes recommendations for individual prevention and control measures for travelers and prevention and control strategies and suggestions for port response to Oropouche fever outbreaks.
