The investigation and disposal of imported chikungunya fever in the 31st Summer Universiade in Chengdu

Abstract：Objective To understand the emergency disposal experience of a confirmed imported case of chikungunya fever in the 31st Summer Universiade,so as to provide reference for the prevention and control of mosquito-borne infectious diseases in large-scale sports events.Methods Using Technical Guide for Prevention and Control of Chikungunya Fever(2012 edition),Chikungunya Fever Epidemiological Survey Scheme and Emergency Treatment Plan for Vectors in the 31st Summer Universiade in Chengdu to conduct the epidemiological investigation and mosquito disposal.Results The density of mosquito vector was controlled in the standard range,and there was no local second-generation cases occurred.Conclusion The emergency disposal of imported chikungunya fever was carried out based on the multi-department,and the Universiade was successfully completed.
