Abstract:Objective To analyse the species, number, density and seasonal variation of rats, mosquitoes, flies and cockroaches in Neijiang from 2020 to 2022,so as to provide a reliable basis for risk assessment of vector-associated diseases in Neijiang. Methods Rats, mosquitoes, flies and cockroaches were monitored by night trapping, light trapping, cage trapping and sticky trapping, respectively. Results From 2020 to 2022,the density of rats in Neijiang was 0.16%,0.12%and 0.09%,respectively.The dominant species was Rattus norvegicus. The highest density of was in rural villages. The density of mosquitoes was 1.43,1.18 and 0.83/(Lamp·h),respectively.The density of livestock shed was the highest, and the dominant species was Culex pipiens quinquefasciatus. The density of flies was 2.34,2.09 and 2.86 flies per cage, respectively. The density of cockroaches was 0.62,0.59 and 0.43 cockroaches per sheet, respectively. The highest density of cockroaches was found in the market. The dominant cockroach species was Blattella germanica, and the peak period was from May to July. Conclusion Neijiang should continue to clean up environmental sanitation and eliminate the breeding sites according to different seasons, habitats and dominant species.
