Study on performance of the wick for electrothermal vaporizing liquid

Abstract：Objective To determine the quality of carbon wick,wood wick,wood powder doped wick and fiber wick by testing their properties,so as to provide method and basis for selecting wick for electrothermal vaporizing liquid.Methods The methods were based on QB/T 5278-2018,GB/T 18418-2017,GB 24330-2020,GB 13917.6-2009 and GB 13917.10-2009.Results The consistency of production technology,sense,siphon time,bending resistance,volatilization rate and evaporation consistency of fiber wick is better than that of carbon wick,wood wick and wood powder doped wick.However,the residue concentration of active ingredient in fiber wick is high,and the biological effect is not good.Conclusion The physical and chemical indexes of fiber wick are excellent.However,the residue concentration of active ingredient in fiber wick is high,and the biological effect is not good,and further study is still needed.
