Investigation and integrated management of termites infestation of ancient buildings in Shiqifang village

Abstract：Objective To grasp the termite infestation and to implement the integrated management in Shiqifang village in Zhenhai District.Methods Field investigation of termite infestation was used in Shiqifang village,monitor-controlling technology,chemical barrier and dusting method were conducted.Results Twelve ancient buildings in Shiqifang village were investigated,and 7 were infested by termites,accounting for 58.33%;the termite infestation was significant decreased by integrated management.Conclusion The termite infestation in Shiqifang village is serious,and integrated management was effective for termite control.
