One newly recorded species of the genus Pericapritermes from Nanjing

Abstract：Objective The species and distribution of termites in Nanjing of Jiangsu province were investigated to provide scientific basis for termite control.Methods Through field survey,specimens were collected extensively and identified by morphological classification and molecular identification methods.Results A newly recorded species of termites in Nanjing,Pericapritermes nitobei was discovered and described.Conclusion The geographical distribution information of the species is supplemented.
