Resistance of Aedes albopictus larvae to five insecticides in Jiancheng District of Neijiang City

Abstract：Objective To understand the resistance level of Aedes albopictus larvae to 5 chemical insecticides in Jiancheng District of Neijiang.Methods Larvae of Aedes albopictus larvae were collected in the area where the human activities were more frequently.The larvae dipping method was used to determine the LC50 of the larvae after 1 -2 generations in the laboratory,and the results were compared with sensitive population data provided by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention.Results Aedes albopictus larvae in Jiancheng District developed 26.44,38.44,63.37,1.91 and 3.36 folds resistance respectively to beta-cypermethrin,permethrin,deltamethrin,dichlorvos and parathion.Conclusion It is suggested that mosquito breeding places should be strengthened in the prevention and control of dengue fever or the establishment of sanitary cities.
