Current situation and development of international travel medicine in China

Abstract：With the development of tourism,international travel has become one route of transmission for infectious disease.Epidemics such as severe acute respiratory syndrome,influenza A (H5N1),influenza A (H1N1),middle east respiratory syndrome,ebola virus disease,zika virus disease spread rapidly through the travelers in the new century.Science of travel medicine is a highly specialized discipline,developed relatively late in China.This paper aimed to provide a direction for the development of travel medicine in China by defining the medical service objects and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages.
