Culex pipiens pallens density in Miyun District of Beijing from 2011 to 2016

Abstract：Objective To provide basis for mosqiuto prevention through understanding the species of mosqiutoes and analyzing the density and season variation of the main species.Methods The monitoring data of mosqiutoes in Miyun District from 2011 to 2016 were collected and analyzed.Kruskal-Wallis test was used to test the mosqiuto density among the different years and environments,chi-suqare test was used to test the mosquito density among the different months of the 6 years.Results The main mosquito captured in Miyun district from 2011 to 2016 was Culex pipiens pallens (98.6％),and the mean density was 1.91 insects per lamp in an hour.There was no statistical significance among the difference of Culex pipiens pallens during the 6 years [x2 (H) =10.248,P =0.068];hospital was the place with the highest density,while there was no statistical significance among the difference of hospital,residental area and green land of park [x2 (H) =1.452,P =0.484],the peaks of mosquitoes density appeared in July among the past 6 years.Conclusion In the future,Miyun District should focus on the prevention of Culex pipiens pallens,and the work of killing nosqiuto should be carried out in May.
