Abstract：A standardized specification for termite prevention technology in buildings can be better guide termite prevention work to achieve the best social,economic,environmental and optimal efficiency.According to the needs of society and the need of technological innovation,"Technical specification for termite prevention in buildings" that recommended as local standards for engineering construction in Hunan Province was issued in September 22,2016,and implemented in November 1,2016.This paper introduced the background and ideas of this standard,introduces the main technical contents and main points of the new version from the terminology words,the key points of Monitor -controlling Technology,the adjustment of the dosage and area of chemical banier~ termiticide and the construction quality acceptance and so on,and can be used for reference in the termite control personnel to quickly and accurately grasp the relevant technical points.
