Resistance of Aedes albopictus to four commonly used insecticides in Xuchang City in 2014

Abstract：Objective To understand the resistance of Aedes albopictus larvac to commonly used insecticides in Xuchang City.Methods The method for dipping of larva was used.Results The LD50 values of cypermethrin,deltamethrin,permethrin and temephos to Aedes albopictus larva were 2.647 8,1.445 3,5.830 2,1.504 1 μg/L,indicating that Aedes albopictus larva developed 3.0,4.1,3.0 and 0.9 folds resistance to the insecticides.Conclusion The resistances of Aedes albopictus larvae to the four insecticides were at low level in Xuchang.It is necessary to use insecticides reasonably to delay the development of resistance.
